Two Sigma expands its global presence by announcing a new office in Tokyo, Japan.

The new office will be the company’s fifth, joining our headquarters in New York and additional offices in Houston, London, and Hong Kong. Two Sigma has been working with Japanese investors for many years, and the expanded presence will help us continue to serve this important investor base.

Two Sigma has always had a strong connection with Japan, in part due to the country’s leadership in advancing technology, using systematic approaches to solve problems, and committing to high educational standards.

On February 9th, the company held a ceremony to inaugurate the new office with Two Sigma co-founder David Siegel. We also hosted an event with Japanese investors at which we discussed AI’s impact on industries even beyond asset management and showcased Two Sigma’s unique approach to building a systematic asset management company.

Our new office will officially open in March and is led by Goshin Mizuno.
